About lab-grown diamonds
Are lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?
Yes. A lab-grown diamond is chemically, physically, and optically identical to a mined diamond — the same carbon crystal structure, the same hardness (10 on the Mohs scale), and the same brilliance and fire. The only real difference is where the diamond formed: underground over millions of years, or above ground in a controlled lab setting over a matter of weeks.
“Lab-grown” describes the diamond’s origin, not its quality or authenticity. When you buy a lab-grown diamond from us, you’re buying a genuine diamond, not a diamond simulant like cubic zirconia or moissanite.
How are lab-grown diamonds different from mined diamonds?
The stone itself isn’t different — lab-grown and mined diamonds share the same chemical makeup and physical properties. What differs is how each one came to exist: mined diamonds crystallize naturally underground over an immense timescale, while lab-grown diamonds are grown using one of two processes, HPHT or CVD, over a matter of weeks.

Do lab-grown diamonds come with a certificate or grading report?
We don’t hold certifications for the lab-grown diamonds we sell, and we don’t issue grading reports ourselves. Our product pages list the stone, metal, and design details for each piece, but you won’t find an accompanying GIA or IGI certificate included with your order.

Are lab-grown diamonds a good investment?
No, and we’d rather say that plainly than let you assume otherwise. Lab-grown diamonds are not an investment: resale value is generally low, and there’s no mechanism that reliably holds or grows their value over time the way some people assume diamonds do.
We sell lab-grown diamond jewelry for people who want to wear it, not as a financial asset. If you’re buying a piece, buy it because you love the design — not because you expect to sell it on later.
Our jewelry
What metal are GemsGlitz pieces made from?
Every piece we sell — every ring and every pendant — is made from 925 sterling silver finished with rhodium plating. The rhodium layer gives the silver a bright, cool white-metal finish and adds a thin protective layer that helps resist everyday tarnish and scratching.
We don’t use gold, gold vermeil, or platinum in any of our pieces; sterling silver with a rhodium finish is the only metal option across the whole range, and it’s listed the same way on every product page.
Do you sell gold, platinum, or earrings?
No to all three. Our entire collection is 925 sterling silver with a rhodium finish — we don’t offer gold or platinum settings, so if you’re specifically looking for those metals, we won’t be the right fit. We also don’t currently sell earrings; our range is limited to rings and pendants.

What ring sizes do you offer?
Sizing depends on the style. Eternal is available across US sizes 5–10, Aura runs US 6–9, and Luminous is offered only in US 6–7. Sizing for our other ring styles is listed directly on each product page, since it varies from design to design rather than following one standard range.
Because availability differs by style, it’s worth checking the specific sizing options for the ring you’re interested in before you order — especially if you’re between sizes or buying for someone else.
What carat sizes do your diamonds come in?
Carat weight varies across our lab-grown diamond pieces. Among our rings, Radiance Classic is 0.6ct, Celeste and Luminous are 0.8ct, and Eternal is 1.0ct. Our solitaire pendants are also 1.0ct, while Cascade sets its round stone inside an open teardrop frame and Ethereal surrounds its centre stone with a starburst of smaller stones.

How do I care for my lab-grown diamond jewelry?
The lab-grown diamond itself needs very little care — it’s extremely hard and resistant to everyday wear. The sterling silver setting is the part that needs attention, since silver can tarnish over time, especially with exposure to moisture, lotions, and perfume.

Ordering and delivery
How long will my order take to arrive?
Every piece is made to order rather than shipped from stock, so please allow 5–7 business days for your piece to be made and dispatched. Once it leaves us, transit typically takes another 10–20 days depending on your location.
That means most orders arrive within a few weeks rather than a few days. It’s longer than buying something already sitting in a warehouse, but it’s the trade-off for having each piece made to order rather than produced in advance.
Is shipping free?
Yes — shipping is free on every order to the countries we serve, with no minimum order size required to qualify. The free shipping is applied automatically at checkout, so there’s no code to enter.
We don’t currently offer express or expedited shipping; every order moves through the same made-to-order and delivery timeline described above, regardless of order size.
Which countries do you ship to?
We ship to a wide range of countries, but not worldwide — delivery is limited to the countries we currently serve. Coverage can change over time, so the most reliable way to check is to add a piece to your cart and enter your shipping address at checkout.
If we don’t currently deliver to your country, checkout will let you know before you complete your order, so you won’t be charged for a destination we can’t reach.
How will I know when my order has shipped?
Once your order is dispatched, we send you a tracking email so you can follow it on its way to you. That email goes to the address you used at checkout, so it’s worth double-checking that address is entered correctly when you place your order.
Until that email arrives, your order is still being made — remember to allow for the 5–7 business day dispatch window before expecting tracking details.
Do you offer financing or payment plans?
No. We don’t offer financing, installment plans, or buy-now-pay-later options of any kind — every order is paid for in full at the time of checkout.
Prices shown on each product page are what you’ll pay; there are no added fees for made-to-order production, and free shipping is already included for the countries we serve.
Returns and sizing
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days on unworn pieces. If something isn’t right — the style, the fit, or anything else — get in touch within that window and we’ll talk you through the process.
Because every piece is made to order, we ask that anything sent back is unworn and in its original condition. Once we’ve confirmed that, we can move ahead with your return.
How do I find my ring size?
The simplest way is to measure a ring the person already owns and wears on the intended finger, then compare that measurement to a standard ring size chart. If you don’t have a ring to measure, wrapping a strip of paper or flexible tape around the base of the finger and measuring the length works as an alternative.
If you’re buying a surprise gift, borrowing an existing ring to measure — even briefly — is usually the most accurate approach, since finger size can vary depending on how and when you measure it.
Can I get my ring resized?
Resizing isn’t part of our listed services, so plan to confirm your size before you order rather than adjusting it afterward — eternity-style bands in particular generally can’t be resized, because stones run around the band. If an unworn ring doesn’t fit, our 30-day return policy applies. This matters especially because sizing is style-specific — Luminous, for example, is only available in US 6–7, while Eternal spans a much wider US 5–10 range.

Buying a gift
Can I buy a piece as a gift if I don’t know the recipient’s ring size?
Ring sizing can be the trickiest part of buying jewelry as a surprise. If you’re not sure of their size, a pendant is often the easier choice, since our pendant designs don’t require any sizing at all.
If you do want to gift a ring, it’s worth quietly checking their size in advance — measuring an existing ring they wear is usually the most reliable way — since we don’t currently offer a resizing service after the order is placed.
Do you offer gift wrapping or engraving?
Not at the moment — we don’t currently offer gift wrapping or engraving on any of our pieces. Each order arrives as described on its product page, without added personalization or gift packaging.
If either of those matters for how you’re planning to give the gift, it’s worth factoring that in before you order, since we’re not able to add them after the fact.
