Luminous – 0.8ct Pavé Solitaire Ring in 925 Sterling Silver

Luminous is the most detailed ring in the collection. The centre stone is a classic round solitaire, but everything around it has been worked: a scrolled filigree gallery under the stone, a line of small pavé-set stones along the front of the band, and engraved detail on its sides. It reads as an heirloom rather than a new purchase.

The centre stone

A round brilliant lab-created stone of approximately 0.8ct, held in four claw prongs that leave most of the stone open to light.

The band

Small round stones are pavé-set along the front of the band, edged with a fine beaded border, so the sparkle carries on from the centre stone onto the shoulders. The sides of the band are engraved, and the open filigree beneath the setting shows from the side – the detail you notice when the ring is on your hand.

Finding your size

Luminous is made in US 6 and US 7 only. If you are between the two, or buying as a surprise, choose the larger; a slightly loose ring can be worn on a different finger, a tight one cannot. Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are at their largest. Full chart in the size guide below.

Caring for it

• Put jewellery on last, after perfume, hairspray and lotion.
• Remove before swimming, showering, cleaning or the gym.
• Clean with warm water, a drop of mild soap and a soft brush; dry thoroughly.
• Store dry and separately so the band does not scratch against other pieces.
