The stone

One 1.0ct round brilliant lab-created stone, roughly 6.5mm across. That diameter is the point at which a ring stops being subtle and starts being the first thing someone notices about your hand.

The setting

Four prongs, raised slightly so light can enter from beneath the stone as well as above it. The band stays narrow so the proportions read as delicate rather than heavy.
